Individuals and Family Private Exchange

Open Enrollment is underway! We've developed of our own private exchange for the Individual and Family segment. The site will allow you to easily generate quotes, share a user-friendly link that will be directly tied to each agent. View our Private Exchange >

Below you will find several directions that will help you navigate our new exchange, including how to share your dedicated broker link (so the sale can be tracked to you) as well as how to generate a quote and how to enroll a client.

How to Create your Unique, Producer URL

  • Login to the portal for Individual/Family Plans.
  • Click on the drop down arrow next to your name near the top right corner of the page
  • Choose “Account Settings”
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Account Settings page
  • Change “Brand” to TX
  • Click “Instant Quote”
  • Your unique producer URL will appear underneath
  • You can edit the hyperlink by changing the Text to Display
    • To do this copy and paste your link into a Word document. Right click the link and select “Edit Hyperlink.” At the top of the pop up is where you can change the “Text to display”
  • You can also embed the link in an email or other electronic communications to your clients
  • Please remember when someone uses your link to enroll; your contact information will not appear until the application process has been started.

How to Send a New Business Proposal

  • Login to the portal for Individual/Family Plans.
  • Click on “Activities” and choose “New Quote”
  • You are now on the Landing page
  • Click on “Get Started”
  • Enter the home zip code for the individual or family you are quoting
  • Enter the first name, date of birth, gender and tobacco use for each individual you are quoting
  • Click “Save & Continue”
  • Click “Select Browse All Plans”
  • You are now on the See & Compare Plans page
  • Click “Add to Quote” for each plan you want to include in the proposal (all six (6) can be added)
  • Once you have added the plans you want, scroll to the top of the page and click on “Quote Summary” then choose “Save & Create Case”
  • You are now on the Case Information page
  • You can enter as much or as little information on this page as you’d like, but the following fields are required: Case Name, State, Zip Code, Acknowledgement of the HIPAA Privacy Policy and the Communications Opt-In question at the bottom.
  • Once you’ve entered the Case Information, click “Continue”
  • You are now on the Quote Summary page
  • Click “Generate Proposal”
  • The default option is a Proposal PDF, but you can choose to email an HTML Plan Comparison (this email will contain “Apply Now” buttons for each plan selected)
  • Once you have chosen the proposal format (PDF or HTML), enter the delivery emails and click “Send Proposal” at the bottom of the page.

How to Submit an Application on Behalf of your Client

  • Login to the portal for Individual/Family Plans.
  • Click on “Activities” and choose “New Quote”
  • You are now on the Landing page
  • Click on “Get Started”
  • Enter the home zip code for the individual or family you are quoting
  • Enter the first name, date of birth, gender and tobacco use for each individual you are quoting
  • Click “Save & Continue”
  • Click “Select Browse All Plans”
  • You are now on the See & Compare Plans page
  • Click “Add to Cart” for the plan your client has chosen
  • You are now on the Decide & Enroll page
  • Click “Enroll Now”
  • You are now on the Prior to Applying page
  • You can enter as much or as little information on this page as you’d like, but the following fields are required: Acknowledgement of the HIPAA Privacy Policy, Client’s First & Last Name, State, Zip Code, Client’s Email, Preferred Method of Contact, Best Time to Contact and Communications Opt-In question
  • Choose “I will enter the completed paper application for my client” as your Method of Completion and click “Continue”
  • You are now on the Application Checklist page
  • Click “Start Application”
  • You are now on the Primary Applicant page
    • Enter all information required for the Primary Applicant and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Family Members page
    • Enter all information required for any Dependents being enrolled and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Payment Options page
    • Enter all information required for the initial and ongoing payments and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Verify Application page
    • This page summarizes all of the information entered about the Primary Applicant and any Dependents being enrolled, as well as the initial and ongoing payment methods
  • If the information on the Verify Application page is accurate, click “Next”
  • You are now on the Agent Certification page
    • Not all fields on this page are required, but enter as much of the optional information as possible and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Submit Application on Behalf of Applicant page
  • Under Terms & Conditions, you must initial to acknowledge you understand our guidelines about the effective date of coverage.
  • Under Summary of Benefits & Coverage, you must acknowledge you received a copy of the SBC.
  • Under Verification & Electronic Signature, you must sign your name since you are submitting the application on behalf of your client.
  • NOTE: The name you enter for the e-signature must match the name listed after the dashes (--) that follow “Verification and Electronic Signature” (First Name, MI and Last Name).
  • Once you have entered your e-signature, click “Submit Application”

How to Start an Application and Forward to your Client for Completion

  • Login to the portal for Individual/Family Plans.
  • Click on “Activities” and choose “New Quote”
  • You are now on the Landing page
  • Click on “Get Started”
  • Enter the home zip code for the individual or family you are quoting
  • Enter the first name, date of birth, gender and tobacco use for each individual you are quoting
  • Click “Save & Continue”
  • Click “Select Browse All Plans”
  • You are now on the See & Compare Plans page
  • Click “Add to Cart” for the plan your client has chosen
  • You are now on the Decide & Enroll page
  • Click “Enroll Now”
  • You are now on the Prior to Applying page
  • You can enter as much or as little information on this page as you’d like, but the following fields are required: Acknowledgement of the HIPAA Privacy Policy, Client’s First & Last Name, State, Zip Code, Client’s Email, Preferred Method of Contact, Best Time to Contact and Communications Opt-In question
  • Choose “I will start the application for my client online” as your Method of Completion and click “Continue”
  • You are now on the Application Checklist page
  • Click “Start Application”
  • You are now on the Primary Applicant page
    • Enter all information required for the Primary Applicant and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Family Members page
    • Enter all information required for any Dependents being enrolled and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Payment Options page
    • Enter all information required for the initial and ongoing payments and click “Next”
  • You are now on the Verify Application page
    • This page summarizes all of the information entered about the Primary Applicant and any Dependents being enrolled, as well as the initial and ongoing payment methods
  • If the information on the Verify Application page is accurate, click “Next”
  • You are now on the Agent Certification page

  • You are now on the Forward Application page
  • Click “Forward application to consumer”
  • A pop up will appear asking you to verify you want to forward the application to the consumer
  • Click “Forward Application” again
  • You are now on the Forward Application to Consumer page
  • Verify the applicant’s Last Name, Date of Birth and Email, and click “Email to Client”
  • You are now on the Application Delivery Confirmation page
  • Your client will receive an email with a link to complete their application online

How to Submit a Renewal on Behalf of your Client

  • Login to the portal for Individual/Family Plans.
  • Click on “Work Queue”
  • You are now on the Work Queue page
  • Click on the drop down menu next to View and choose “Active Renewals (IFP)”
  • This will pull up a list of your active renewals for 2017
  • Click on the Case Name for the client you want to renew
  • You are now on the Case Summary – Individual page
  • Click on the “Renewal(s)” tab
  • Click “View” under Renewal(s) at the bottom right of the page
  • You are now on the Renewal Summary page
  • If your client wants to enroll in the Renewing Default plan, no further action is needed. Your client will automatically be moved to the Renewing Default plan effective 1/1/2017.
  • If your client wants to enroll in one of the Alternate Plan options, click “Apply” for the alternate plan they want, and follow the steps under How to Submit an Application on Behalf of your Client – or – How to Start an Application and Forward to your Client for Completion.
  • If your client wants to enroll in a plan other than the Renewing Default or Alternate Plan options, click “Shop all Plans” and follow the steps under How to Submit an Application on Behalf of your Client – or – How to Start an Application and Forward to your Client for Completion.
