Dr. Gregory Seymour, MD

Dr. Gregory Todd Seymour, MD, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in physical chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and went on to complete his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served an additional year as chief resident and earned the Carolyn Law Award in Rheumatology. Dr. Seymour then completed his fellowship training in medical oncology and hematology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he oversaw staffing and cared for patients in the Emergency Center as well as the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

Board certified in medical oncology, Dr. Seymour provides treatment for oncology and hematology patients. His clinical interests include breast cancer, colon cancer, small cell lung cancer, non- small cell lung cancer,  leukemias, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, liver cancer, primary central nervous system cancers, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, multiple myeloma, gist tumors, rectal cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, gastric cancer, meningioma, anemia, thyroid cancer, head and neck cancer, melanoma and ureteral cancer.

Dr. Seymour creates specialized, cutting-edge treatment plans for his patients based on their specific conditions and educates them throughout the process. He strives to aid each patient in their path through treatment, pain management, drug therapeutic options and a clear understanding of their disease process. Although not every patient can be cured, he believes that every cancer patient can be helped in some way through palliative care, supportive medicine and pain management to help them achieve the best possible quality of life.

After personally experiencing how cancer can affect a family, Dr. Seymour offers compassionate care, including giving his chemotherapy patients access via his personal cell phone. He cares for patients living in Cleveland, Conroe, Crosby, Cypress, Dodge, Houston, Huffman, Hufsmith, Humble, Huntsville, Magnolia, New Caney, New Waverly, North Houston, Pinehurst, Porter, Shepherd, Spring, Tomball and The Woodlands.
